Really great to learn of the Lanarkshire Book Festival events coming soon. Sounds very exciting. I’ve been a teacher in education for over 30 years now, though I very recently swapped formal academic writing for fiction.
I've been fortunate to have my debut book published, entiled Compendium of Games and Shames (pen name Michael M Smith). The book is a series of short story fiction, comprising seven different storylines. This book is currently undergoing further final edits before a relaunch very soon.
I live in the Glasgow area and I recently attended the Authors Invade Scotland event in June this year as an invited author. This was a real thrill for me to attend tis event and to meet and chat with many other fellow authors, as well as selling a number of my books along with book signings.
